Terk Tribe
“FAMILY! Love is one of the qualities of a good family and what the people here did for us was just that. They demonstrated an incredible selfless love for EACH one of us that was blessed to have been invited to attend this event. It wasnt just the family that treated us like this it was everyone that had anything to do with the event from Ms. Kim, to the guides, all the way down to the cooks. I want to thank everyone I mean EVERYONE that made this possible. This place is amazing and to call it theraputic is an understatment, by the end you leave with a big smile on your face and an extended family of about 30 people that you can call at any time if you ever need them. Thanks again to all of you for an amazing time and I hope to see all of you again.“

The Terk Tribe is an event to benefit post 9/11 combat veterans who were wounded, became ill, or injured during their service. Preferential consideration will be given to Purple Heart recipients, as well as those injured in the line of duty.
A small group of veterans is selected each year to embark upon a weekend of outdoor activities, ranging from hunting to fishing, led by the specialized Terk Tribe team. The mission of the annual event is to promote community and a spirit of giving for those who have served our country. Healing Spirits Outdoors!

“Kimberly Terk is a patriot who loves her country and the men and women who sustain and protect our way of life. She and her family have come together to provide a once in a lifetime hunt for our warfighters. Kimberly, you are making a difference in the recovery and well being of our soldiers. Just being outdoors is better then any therapy. Your hospitality, beautiful accommodations and warm smile will be remembered by all that visit. Semper Fi.”

“I just wanted to say thank you for giving my husband an amazing weekend. He barely got in the door before he was telling us awesome stories about his hunting weekend and all about the amazing people he met. It makes my heart happy to see him laugh, smile, enjoy the guys and just forget about the world for a couple of days. He SO deserved it and I’m so appreciative for all of you that made it a weekend that he will never forget! All of you are changing lives and it’s incredible!”

“Thank you for allowing me to come to your ranch and partake in the festivities. It is hard sometimes for me to express how much things mean to me, but this trip put a lot into perspective. Being here with no family and going through the transition process of being a civilian is very hard. The Terk Tribe event really helped me get out of my shell and realize what’s important in my life. I credit this all to you. What you do for guys like us is incredible and I can’t wait to get after it again. The Terk Foundation is amazing and I’m grateful for all they have done for me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”

“The Terk Tribe is not just a foundation but a family. I had the pleasure of meeting Kimberly and her great family. They treated me like family and have become so. The time that is taken out of there everyday live’s to help effect change in the veteran community is amazing. From welcoming disabled veterans to events to keeping in contact and making sure they are doing well when times get tough. I could not have asked to have met a better group of patriotic and humble people in my life. I hope to one day return the favor of their generosity that they have continued to show me. Thank you to Kimberly, Mitch, and Morgan for all that you do!”

“The Terk Foundation is full of great Americans taking pride in support of Veterans! I had an incredible time at the ranch. Memories that will remain for life. The one on one time with the guides and the camaraderie of the tribe made for a very enjoyable and meaningful experience. The ranch is by far one of the most amazing places in Texas, absolutely beautiful. The food was outstanding and the hospitality unmatched. It felt like I was attending a family reunion. I am blessed to be apart of the Terk tribe.”
